Downstairs you will find an oversized crafting room.  We have provided each of you with your own 4 foot table and comfy leather rolling chair.   Tables can be arranged and rearranged to fit your needs.  The floors in the crafting room are original hardwood.  You will have no trouble rocking and rolling while you work in here.  The room is flooded with light during the day and we have excellent lighting for your evening crafting.  If you need even MORE lighting, we have desk lamps available for you. Ceiling fans will add to your comfort.

Enjoy the large flat screenTV and a DVD combo in the crafting room.  We get local channels so you won't have to miss your favorite show.  We also have a DVD library - but you can bring your own favorites too.  Is music your thing?  You can jam out all day long - you can listen to your CDs through the television, listen to the radio, or bring your Ipod full of tunes and dock it on our Ipod docking station.

We have a die cut and punch center for you in the crafting room.  In the parlor we have a huge selection of Stampin Up rubber stamps for you to use during your visit.

Adjacent to the crafting room is a parlor where you can relax and visit.  If you are unable to climb stairs, the daybed in the parlor may be the answer for you.  You can use it as your sleeping area.  

Our "share box" has now become a "share center" because of the generosity of our retreaters.   If you want to leave some "no longer loved" items, just add them to the center.  We have categorized each drawer so that you might find just what you need - scraps by color, ribbon, fibers, stickers, embellishments, etc for you to use during your stay with us.  And if you want to take some of it home, feel free.  We even have a large amount of 12x12 paper you can use at the retreat, add to for the next group or take home for your next project.  The share center was created just for you.  We hope you will enjoy it.

The computer and printer are located in the parlor.  You may need to journal to complete one more page.  Just type and print.  No need to wait until you get home.  The ink's on us!   For you digi scrappers, the latest version of Adobe Photoshop Elements is loaded onto this computer.  Just hook up your external hard drive with all your digi elements and create to your heart's content.

We also provide wireless internet access for you.  You can use the computer at the Inn to surf the web, or you can bring your own laptop.  Our wireless service works in every part of the house - even upstairs.

Where will your group share your meals?  In the formal dining room of course.  Enjoy this cocoa colored room as you dine.  Even though the original coal burning fireplace no longer functions, it is beautiful to behold while you share your meals.

The kitchen is fully stocked for you.  No need to bring plates, silverware, crockpots or cookware.  We have it all for you.  You can prepare your meals ahead and then just pop them into the oven or make your meals from start to finish right here.  The kitchen is huge with its granite island "center stage" and just waiting to showcase all those snacks you'll bring.  Clean up is a snap too.  Just load the dishwasher.  No need to damage those manicures with harsh dishwater!

In the kitchen there is a small breakfast area for you to enjoy your coffee each morning.

The deck in the back is a wonderful place to enjoy the early morning or have a quiet time in the evening.  Of course, the wrap around porch in the front of the house works well too! 

The final downstairs room is an ADA compliant bathroom with tub and shower. Did I mention the towels?  Nice fluffy towels for everyone !



                   
                                        

Upstairs are the bedroom retreats.  Perhaps you will want to stay in Great Aunt Ophelia's Attic.  Quilts of sage green will welcome you to this room.  Four of you will sleep well in this quiet location.

Maybe you would prefer Aunt Sue's Garden.  Three of you will nod off in a green and yellow garden themed room.  Yellow sheets and gorgeous quilts will cuddle you as you rest.

Or if you are feeling a bit swept up by the thought of ocean breezes, five of you can stay in Grandma Lillie's Seaside Suite.  Yes - soft ocean decor will surround you.  You will forget you are in North Texas.  This suite has its own private bathroom with a walk in shower.  The jetted tub is just your little reward for selecting such an excellent room during your visit.

The third full bathroom - just renovated - is upstairs.  Decorated in cocoa and chocolate brown, with just a touch of yellow- you will have plenty of room to shower and dress each day. 

We have designed this retreat so that you can relax and have fun with your best girlfriends.  Create and dine downstairs - relax and rest upstairs.  


              

We have also teamed up with the Crafty Scrapper in Waxahachie.  During your stay, you will get discount coupons for this fantastic scrapbook store.  The coupons are by the back door - be sure to take them with you when you go shopping.  Waxahachie  is just about 10 minutes from the Inn.
